Lentera Kolo — Finishing & Launching a Community News Portal

Picked up an unfinished build for Lentera Kolo, a community news and writing portal in Bima, NTB, where readers can also submit their own articles. I closed the remaining gaps in someone else’s codebase and shipped it to production.

Lentera Kolo served readers and local writers in Bima, NTB. In 2026 I took over its unfinished CodeIgniter build from another developer and got it ready to go live.

What I built

• Fixes for the minor bugs left in a CodeIgniter codebase I hadn’t written.
• The remaining work to get the portal ready for readers.
• The production launch.

Status

The portal went live in production. It is no longer publicly accessible.
